The device parts Stationary ring is the first one on your hip. Floating ring is in the back
To get set and put slight tension on the cords just to when you can feel it fairly good. Stationary and Floating ring
When hitter is in the hitting position, the rings are together When hitter is in the swing position, the rings are separated. Allowing you to stretch rotation tension separate from the floating tension.
